Really Simple Syndication is starting to attract some real money.

This is especially true after Technorati — one of the leading blog and Really Simple Syndication, or RSS, tracking services — acknowledged Monday it recently closed a multimillion-dollar round of venture capital funding. While Technorati’s haul is in and of itself impressive, it’s the expected ripple effect on other RSS technology developers that has some in the industry excited.

Outsource your job to get a new one! This is the new mantra doing the rounds in the US IT sector. Programmers are outsourcing their software modules to cheap and efficient labour in India. This way they get the best of both worlds- more money and more time. They earn doubly - one from the outsourced job, other from the new job they undertake.

I don’t want to have to drag all my stuff over manually - that’s a pain in the ass, and I’m likely to forget the various hidden “.something” config files and folders so often used by *NIX software.
